Tomato Thief
Lil' Miss loves to steal tomatoes off the vines in the garden. This time I caught her trying to enjoy her bounty on the couch.
Christmas 2015
This was the first year in 24 years that we did not have a live Christmas tree. Finding a potted tree in Texas hasn't worked well for replanting; although our tree from our first year here is hanging on, despite the over 60" of rain in 2015.
Lorne and I spent two weeks scouring sales for the perfect artificial tree at a reasonable price. Who knew a fake tree would cost over $350. Our persistence paid off and Michael's had our dream tree for 60% off we snagged it up.
Lucy received quite a haul this year with art supplies, shoes, and a pedifile (pedicure kit.)
Lorne received well needed shoes, a couple of sports jackets, some cool ties, and the annual tee-shirts and underwear.I made out most of all with a family HP printer and a new 15.9" Lovono laptap. My 2006 Toshiba with its Windows Vista OS was running on its last GB. Now, this technotard has to learn Windows 10, and a bunch of new software I've never heard of like OneNote.
Under the Christmas Tree photo is our new kitty Jinx. He came free with a half-cord of firewood.

Love is sharing a great breakfast.
Love is shown in the little things people do for each other. How lucky I am to have a husband who continually shows me he loves me. I could fill a whole blog with meals he's made for our family. Not because he wants to eat (since I'm a crappy cook, although I try) but each meal he cooks is made with love.
Thank you, Lorne for being such a great hubby.
Sunday morning frittata we enjoyed together.

Look What the Dog Dragged In...
There is a vacant, two acre lot across from our house, and next to it is a field of weeds under the power lines. Every day I walk across the street and let my dogs run free. Sometime they explore the weeds, chase birds, and for Blue, he uses the brush as a cover when he takes a dump.
One day in November, the puppy Lil' Miss (Mischief) comes darting out of the weeds and runs as fast as she can in my direction. As she comes closer, I notice something gripped in her mouth. She continues to close the gap and I can see that the object is white and about the size of a man's sneaker. When she gets within five feet she slows down and I notice that it's not a sneaker in her jowls.
