This was the first year in 24 years that we did not have a live Christmas tree. Finding a potted tree in Texas hasn't worked well for replanting; although our tree from our first year here is hanging on, despite the over 60" of rain in 2015.
Lorne and I spent two weeks scouring sales for the perfect artificial tree at a reasonable price. Who knew a fake tree would cost over $350. Our persistence paid off and Michael's had our dream tree for 60% off we snagged it up.
Lucy received quite a haul this year with art supplies, shoes, and a pedifile (pedicure kit.)
Lorne received well needed shoes, a couple of sports jackets, some cool ties, and the annual tee-shirts and underwear.I made out most of all with a family HP printer and a new 15.9" Lovono laptap. My 2006 Toshiba with its Windows Vista OS was running on its last GB. Now, this technotard has to learn Windows 10, and a bunch of new software I've never heard of like OneNote.
Under the Christmas Tree photo is our new kitty Jinx. He came free with a half-cord of firewood.
