A Different Perspective ...

Lucy and I went to visit the University of Arkansas to see if she wanted to attend the school. She was excepted in October with a 70% non-resident scholarship.

The school was founded in the late 1870 and is ranked as 135th in National Universities according to US News with over 3.6 billion in endowments and a student/teacher ratio of 19:1. In her specific department alone the ratio is about 6:1 with only 50 students in the BFA Graphic Arts program. The Department Director stated that the School of Art is thriving with donations and the building is being renovated with endowment funds.

While in Fayetteville, Lucy and I snapped photos of the area. I'm surprised that we didn't take more of the school itself, but we were fascinated by all the colors of fall. Below is an example of our different perspectives.

What Lucy saw in scenery... dew on leaves, texture contrast of background building.

Me: Ominous blanket of dark clouds against sunset.
