Starting Over

So many events happened in the last 11 months. I should be asshamed (yes, it's not a typo because that's what I've been lately) that I haven't taken the time to write about all the great things that happen in my life. I don't know if some of it was "election depression" but it's time I move on.

The biggest thing that happened in our life is that our daughter Lucy has gone off and flown the coup for a pen... Razorback Hog Pen, I mean.

She graduated from Life High School Waxahachie last May. For the event, we were lucky enough to trick my son, father, Aunts, and Lorne's brother to come and visit. It was wonderful to have everyone over for her celebration.

Another milestone for her happened earlier in the year when she got her first job at Panda Express. I was so proud of her. She seemed to really excel at serving people and making them happy. Plus, it was great to see her cleaning.

And then there was Lucy's Senior Prom dress shopping ...
